Collection of Personal Information
We collect personal or company information to enable us to access information about customers’ orders, requests, and technical issues in order to provide a higher level of customer service.
Your information, such as Contact Name, Company, Shipping and Billing Addresses and Phone Numbers, and Email Address, is stored in our system after your place an order, this way you do not have to give us your information each time you wish to make a purchase. Previous orders are also stored in your account (should you choose to make an online account). Other information about your purchases may be stored, such as method of purchase, date of purchase, items purchased, quantity of items, etc.
We will not collect or store your Credit Card information. Once your credit card information is entered, it is encrypted and transmitted to a secure third-party payment gateway to process credit card transactions.
Athena Environmental Sciences, Inc. will not sell or rent your contact information to other marketers. We also will not disclose your information to third-parties outside of the necessity to process your order, such in the case where you purchase with a credit card and your payment information is transmitted to our secure third-party payment gateway. This entity is required by contract to undertake the same care and security to safeguard your information in accordance with Athena’s policies.
At times we may be required by law or litigation to disclose your personal information. We may also disclose information about you if we determine that for national security, law enforcement, or other issues of public importance, disclosure in necessary. You will be notified accordingly.

Any personal information that we may store may be accessed by you. Most of this is immediately accessible by way of your online account, which stores all of your ordering information. Other information, such as quote requests or technical issues, is not available online, but can be provided upon request.
If proprietary information is shared with us in a technical support inquiry, we will not disclose or use your proprietary information, or allow it to be used, for its own direct benefit or the benefit of third parties.
