Powdered SILAC Culture Media in 1 Liter Packets
Athena is pleased to announce that several culture media formulations commonly used in SILAC experiments are now available in powdered form. Four different standard formulations for cultivating mammalian cells are available in 1 liter pouches. Each of the medium is prepared without arginine, methionine, leucine and lysine, the four most commonly used amino acids for heavy isotope or selenomethionine labeling. These economical SILAC media have several advantages:

Biochromatography Instrument Systems and Purification Resins
Athena is pleased to announce the availability of two new preparative scale chromatography systems. The Contichrom® Lab-10 and Prep-100 instruments offer all-in-one process capabilities. These systems can perform single and multi-column batch, SMB, CaptureSMB and MCSGP separations. Simplified software control allows conversion from batch to multi-column processes as well as automated control. Process economics are greatly improved.
Protein Expression Media and Systems

Athena offers an eclectic set of proteins that are not found anywhere else or are difficult to source.
